Jeffrey T. Liesendahl | President
Mr. Liesendahl has more than 20 years of experience in fraud prevention, IPOs and acquisitions involving start-up companies, finance and accounting.
Mr. Liesendahl is a former Vice President and Corporate Controller for Orbitz, LLC, where he established all of the company's accounting and finance departments and procedures and oversaw the fraud management department, which solved a significant credit card fraud problem. Mr. Liesendahl also worked with the legal department and others to complete an IPO in 2003 and the eventual sale of Orbitz to Cendant Corporation in 2004.
Mr. Liesendahl began his career as a certified public accountant for KPMG in 1987 where he focused on high technology companies. From 1994 until 2000 Mr. Liesendahl served as Chief Financial Officer for Brandess Kalt Aetna Group, Inc., a distributor of photographic equipment and supplies, and Globetrotter Vacations, a provider of travel and vacations services and products, as well as Corporate Controller for Hawk Medical Supply. During this period, Mr. Liesendahl managed the financial aspects of acquisitions as both acquirer and target, established financial systems and processes, negotiated financing and directed accounting departments, annual budget processes and internal restructurings.
Andrew J. Lauter | Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Lauter has over 20 years of experience in creating business technology and process control solutions for a wide variety of industries. As CTO for Accertify, Mr. Lauter focuses on developing next generation technology solutions for merchants across industries that are exposed to credit card fraud losses, online scams and other types of fraud. His responsibilities include system architecture, identification of future feature sets and company strategic planning from the technology perspective.
Mr. Lauter co-founded PSC Group, LLC in 1990, located in Schaumburg, Illinois. As president of PSC Group, Mr. Lauter guided that company's expansion to include offices throughout the Midwest and annual revenues of more than $15 million, making it one of the more profitable business and technology consulting firms in the middle-market sector, and one distinguished by growth in an otherwise shrinking market.
In 2001, Mr. Lauter was approached by Orbitz, the travel website, to assist in solving a serious fraud problem. The solution developed by PSC Group for Orbitz was tremendously successful, and is still in place today.
Bruce L. Bellak | Chief Information Officer
Mr. Bellak brings more than two decades of experience providing and implementing technology solutions to the e-commerce and supply-chain management industries. As CIO for Accertify, Mr. Bellak is responsible for the implementation and support of Interceptas®.
In 2001, Mr. Bellak led the highly successful development of the fraud solution for Orbitz.
In 1990, Mr. Bellak became vice president and co-founder of PSC Group, LLC. where he has directed the company's overall technology strategy, including project delivery and evaluation of new technology, throughout its successful expansion. At PSC he has helped companies use technology to cope with change in the supply-chain management and e-Commerce sectors.
Greg Cornwell | Vice President of Global Sales
Mr. Cornwell has nearly 10 years of experience working for payments industry leaders. He has held Executive level positions at Allstate Insurance, Chase Paymentech Solutions and First Data. Mr. Cornwell has a proven track record in developing and implementing successful strategies in sales, account management, product creation and strategic partnerships. At Accertify, Greg manages all global expansion for Sales and Account Management, including EMEA, JAPA, LAC and US.
Mr. Cornwell joined Accertify from RBS WorldPay. At RBS, he was Executive Vice President of National Sales, managing a national sales group focused on card-not-present, retail, travel and entertainment and restaurant market sectors. Prior to RBS, Mr. Cornwell was at Chase Paymentech Solutions, where he managed all recurring aspects of the JPMorgan Chase relationship and was responsible for strategic business development in key vertical markets. At Chase Paymentech’s predecessor, Chase Merchant Services, Mr. Cornwell managed a national sales team, created new products and built the company’s market position in the payments sector.
Mr. Cornwell began his career in 1990 at Allstate Insurance, where he held several technology and marketing positions before being promoted to Senior Billing Manager. In this position he developed an electronic payment strategy that included the rollout of card acceptance countrywide, along with several ACH online payment options. Mr. Cornwell’s team reduced the company’s overall bad debit and increased customer satisfaction and retention.
Mr. Cornwell holds a BS in Communications and an MS in Consumer Economics from the University of Illinois.
Alasdair Rambaud | Head of US Sales
Mr. Rambaud has spent over 15 years in the Payments industry in various roles ranging from Finance to Technologies and Sales. In these various roles, Mr. Rambaud has proven himself for his commitments to customers and his ability to be a visionary. He has received numerous Leadership Awards throughout his career.
Mr. Rambaud joins Accertify from American Express where he was instrumental in launching American Express into the Buyer Initiated Payments business following the acquisition of Harbor Payments in 2007. In that role, Mr. Rambaud built the Merchant Network from the ground up which is now generating several Billion Dollars in Charge Volume. He also led the integration of the GE Corporate Card portfolio into Merchant Services following the acquisition in 2008.
From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Rambaud worked in Merchant Services as Director Merchant Acquisition coverage and prospecting, generating leads for the Merchant Acquisition sales team and advising on sales force deployments based on Merchant Acquisition opportunities.
From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Rambaud worked on AmericanExpress.com as Director Business Planning. In this role, Alasdair served as Chief of Staff for the interactive team worldwide.
From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Rambaud held various roles in Finance at American Express. In those roles, Alasdair worked on implementing new financial systems to track account level profitability.
Mr. Rambaud holds a Masters in Business Economics from the "Universite de Reims Champagne-Ardennes" in Reims France.
Mark Simner | Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Simner has over 15 years of financial management, accounting, internal control and financial systems implementation experience, primarily within the Financial Services and Asset Management Industries. Mr Simner joined Accertify in March 2011 and is responsible for the general financial management of the company including decision support, planning, forecasting and investment management activities.
Mr. Simner joins us from American Express where he was Vice President, Controller for Asset Backed Securitization and was responsible for the financial reporting, operations and servicer reporting supporting over $42 Billion in securitized assets including $26 Billion of investor certificates funded.
Prior to joining American Express Mr. Simner was the Controller of General Motors Asset Management and General Motors Trust Bank, N.A. (combined $130 Billion under management) where he was responsible for financial, regulatory and internal management reporting and controls. Before this he had a successful career with GMAC Financial Services where he launched their Sarbanes Oxley compliance efforts and was responsible for SAP financial system implementations and supporting financial re-engineering and change management efforts in several of their European offices.
Mr. Simner is originally from the United Kingdom where he is a Chartered Management Accountant in England and Wales. He recently received an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business where he graduated with distinction.
Evan Henschel | General Counsel
Mr. Henschel is responsible for providing legal and regulatory advice and counsel to Accertify's senior management team, as well as establishing appropriate contracting, intellectual property protection and data privacy compliance procedures within Accertify.
In June 2011, Mr. Henschel joined as Assistant General Counsel of Accertify, Inc. Prior to joining Accertify, Inc., Mr. Henschel spent four years associated with Latham & Watkins, working in their corporate group with a focus on joint venture, technology, licensing, outsourcing, manufacturing and general commercial contract transactions.
Mr. Henschel was also associated with the New York office of Brown Raysman Milstein Felder & Steiner LLP, again focused on all types of technology and media transactions. He has served as Counsel at MicroStrategy Incorporated, a business intelligence software provider. Mr. Henschel began his career at Wiley Rein & Fielding.
Michael J. Long | GM, Accertify, Inc. - EMEA
Mr. Long has almost 20 years of experience in e-commerce fraud prevention, financial fraud investigations, business process improvement and product development. He currently serves as the Vice President/GM for Accertify, EMEA.
Mr. Long began his career in 1990 as a certified public accountant with KPMG. He has served as Director of Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation Services at Kroll Inc., PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG where he conducted and directed domestic and international financial fraud investigations. In 2002, Mr. Long was hired by Orbitz, LLC., to build and direct all fraud prevention and risk mitigation efforts. Under Mr. Long's leadership, Orbitz deployed a highly comprehensive and integrated technology solution to screen transactions for potential fraud. When completed, the system cut Orbitz's fraud losses to a small fraction of their previous scale, decreased departmental operating costs and minimized fraud exposure as Orbitz expanded their service offerings.
Mr. Long recently left his long-held position of Chief Product Strategist at Accertify, Inc., to head the Accertify EMEA operations. As Chief Product Strategist, he was responsible for all product enhancement strategy and execution including customer support and consulting services. Mr. Long was an original member of the Merchant Risk Council and served on its Board of Directors. He currently serves as an Advisor to Europe's Merchant Risk Council's Board of Directors. learn more
Richard Harris | Vice President, Sales - EMEA

Mr. Harris has over 15 years of experience working for payments industry leaders, most notably with Dell Computer as a lead store programmer on Dell.eu, and also at PayPal where he managed the launch of Website Payments Pro into the UK. He started his career writing e-commerce payment systems for small merchants shortly after leaving school.
Previous to joining Accertify, Mr. Harris was Head of E-Commerce for Visa for the Central Europe Middle East and Africa region, overseeing the growth of e-commerce in 85 markets. Mr. Harris has built his career around promoting e-commerce growth and new product launches for financial institutions and merchants and has been a speaker on fraud, risk and best practices in the online payments space at global e-commerce industry events.
Mr. Harris holds an honors degree in Computer Science from Warwick University, Warwickshire, UK.
Nigel Fox | VP/Head of Sales – Japan, Asia/Pacific regions
Mr. Fox has over 20 years experience concentrated in the payments and financial services sectors. He has a proven track record of developing and implementing payment solutions and strategies through the leadership of sales, relationship management and operational functions.
Mr. Fox joined Accertify from American Express. Having commenced with American Express in 2008 as the Head of Strategic Partnerships, he was instrumental in leading payment solution and business development activities across key industry verticals spanning Retail, Travel, Entertainment, Healthcare and Government verticals.
Prior to American Express, Mr. Fox worked for General Electric commencing in December 2000. At GE Mr. Fox was responsible for developing and implementing financial services and payment solutions for key customers, having successfully undertaken a number of senior General Management and Sales Leadership roles in GE’s Financial Services operations. During his tenure with GE, Mr. Fox transferred to GE's United Kingdom operations in 2003 to 2005 following the acquisition of First National, as Client General Manager, to integrate and lead its merchant Client Management team with respect to their key customer partnerships.
Prior to GE, Mr. Fox has held a number of senior leadership roles in the Banking, Marketing and Retail Service organizations.
Mr. Fox attended Macquarie University successfully completing Business Management studies at the Post Graduate and Masters level.
