Merchant Risk Council Announces Its 2011 Board Election Results

SEATTLE, WA -- - (Marketwire) -- 07/28/11 -- The Merchant Risk Council (MRC), a global, merchant-led trade association focused on e-Commerce payments, security and risk, has announced the results of its 2011 Global Board of Directors and Advisory Board elections.

The members of the MRC Global Board and its Americas and European Advisory Boards represent a broad cross-section of its members. MRC membership brings together individuals from key online and multi-channel merchants, solution providers, law enforcement agencies, credit card issuers, credit card brands and national e-Commerce associations, collaborating to improve global online payments acceptance, to secure sensitive data related to online payments, and to fight against credit card payment fraud.
