Leading Latin American Entertainment Company Ramps Up Fight Against Fraud

CHICAGO and SÃO PAULO – July 24, 2012 - Accertify, a leading fraud prevention and risk management provider, today announced it has signed an agreement that includes fraud and managed services with Time For Fun (T4F), one of the largest live entertainment companies in Latin America. Under the agreement, Accertify, an American Express company, will manage all of T4F’s fraud prevention efforts.

With operations in Brazil, Chile and Argentina and more than 14 million tickets sold to date, T4F is the fourth-largest live entertainment company in the world. The company promotes and is a ticketing agent for a wide variety of events from live music shows and performing arts to exhibitions and sporting events.  T4F will leverage Accertify’s comprehensive risk management solution to identify and prevent the constantly evolving and sophisticated tactics of fraudsters while significantly reducing the internal resources T4F devotes to fraud monitoring, detection and resolution.  Accertify’s platform provides multi-currency and multi-language support across channels ranging from online and call centers to mobile kiosks.
