As of March 14, 2022, all UK merchants will be required to comply with Strong Customer Authentication (“SCA”) requirements for e-commerce transactions which aim to increase payment security and protect sensitive consumer payment data.
SCA has already been implemented within the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Depending on the EEA country’s particular enforcement date of the SCA, some EEA countries have been subject to compliance for the past 9 months.
With the SCA requirements being well underway in the EEA, Accertify believes that the EEA can serve as a barometer to understand how enforcement of SCA will impact the UK market.
Join this webinar, hosted by Merchant Payments Ecosystem and presented by Accertify, Inc. to hear key lessons learned from the enforcement of SCA in the EEA, such as:
- Review SCA performance data from multiple industry sources
- Understand how SCA has impacted payments within the EEA
- Summarise SCA KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Prepare for UK enforcement
